The Strategy
Events were the front-line in BikeClubOsaka's marketing strategy.  Advertising, online networking, content syndication: they all helped grow our brand, but events made us famous. (or infamous)

The Beginning
We started off producing our own events: dance, art, galleries, clubs, restaurants, community scavenger hunts and publicity stunts.  In our first year I managed everything personally. From flyer design, to event clean-up, a 'BikeClub' party was an 'Erik Archer' party; I loved it.

The Middle
By our second year BikeClub was the most sought after promotions group in the city and I saw opportunity: collaborative events.  Why have one event each month when it was possible to have 10?

The Result
We began cross-promotional campaigns with other promotions groups. (see 'Advertising') By the third year our logo was incorporated on almost every flyer in the city. Our members received special discounts at the door, and saying 'BikeClub' got you VIP access at the biggest clubs in the city.
